STAY WILD
A Sacred Arts School for Emerging Adults
Beings ages 15-19 are invited Into the Garden to explore their energetic nature and learn sacred practices that promote personal, relational and community healing.
Knowing how to use energy is a basic life skill.
Stay Wild is an in person, experiential and unique Sacred Arts program specifically designed for teens. Our primary intention is to support emerging adults in understanding themselves as energy and how our knowledge and skill in tending their authentic power can profoundly enhance one’s life, relationships, and communities. This offering is rooted in ancient practices that expand the understanding of embodiment and inherent connection to the Great Mystery of the Universe.
This transformative journey takes shape in different forms: Monthly or weekly circles with a curriculum that is shaped by the group and their interest and has included teachings on Communication Skills, Tarot, herbalism, plant communication, Ayurveda, energy anatomy. Unique to this program is a safe place for youth to learn the foundations of Sacred Sex Education, supporting burgeoning adults to source awareness, trust, and confidence in their sovereign sexuality. Other offerings build on this inner knowing with healing practices that promote empowerment in the physical, intuitive, and mystical streams of Being.
Our mentors share a vision for nurturing and empowering youth with joyful agency, embodied ethics and an expanded heart as they enter adulthood, relationships and bring their wisdom into community.
Currently we are piloting groups in the binary, for cis-gendered young women and men as we source aligned instructors for Trans and Non-Binary youth.. Our intention is to provide loving care to all Beings with qualified, experienced and ethical wisdom keepers.
New groups are being formed. Classes are held on Friday evenings or Sunday in the school dome, outdoor classroom or out hiking our beautiful coasts.
“The Why” behind Stay Wild
Liza, co-founder of Into The Garden, is a mom to twin teenagers who she has raised with the values of Into the Garden. As her kids entered the teens years, she was guided to call in an “auntie and uncle” circle after several years of attending the Spirit Weaver Gathering and experiencing how inspirational circling together with other women was for her daughter and friends, especially having a place to ask questions and grow with closer aged mentors. There, sexuality, self care, esoteric and ancestral arts are embraced and celebrated through curiosity and friendship. Wanting a community her son could learn in and find support through also, STAY WILD was conceived. Programming is enriched by the land that holds us: A biodynamic rose geranium farm on Pomo Territory tended by a community elder farmer. Stay Wild is held by a diversity of generations to create a new approach to mentorship, growth and esoteric education.

The Intention of Stay Wild is threefold:
To provide in person mentorship, community and education in the esoteric arts for youth age 15-19.
To be an incubator of developmentally focused curriculum in the sacred arts for educators.
To provide students opportunities to employ STAY WILD skills as peer mentors, bringing their wisdom and learning back to the community.
Groups are held in Sebastopol, California.
